The Angel City Chorale (ACC) of Los Angeles has been a crowd favorite on Season 13 of America’s Got Talent. The multi-cultural choir of 160 men and women is led by artistic director Sue Fink. Over the years, the Angel City Chorale has released three albums, see links below. Their version of the 1983 Toto song “Africa” has been viewed more than 10 million times on YouTube. (All of the members snap their fingers to make the sound of rain for the beginning of the song.)

The Angel City Chorale will perform live during the semi-finals which is scheduled for Tuesday, September 11. The choir announced hours prior to the show that they’ve been waiting all season to sing “a very special tribute to the ones who risk their lives to save total strangers because they know that every life is precious – regardless of age, race, or belief. Let’s all unite on this somber day in our country’s history to create one joyous song!” New episodes of America’s Got Talent air Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
