On the Black Ink Crew: Chicago episode “White Tacticals,” Charmaine is trying to rally the troops at Loyal Ink while Lily and the new girl Reese continue to protest the tattoo shop right outside the door. In front of a giant blow-up witch, they carry protest signs “With this witch we can’t get rich” and chant “50 percent won’t pay my rent!”
When Charmaine suggests throwing a grand opening party for Loyal Ink, Charmaine is the only one on the invite list. (That giant blowup witch can’t even fit through the door.) And then Cobra comes back and sees the witch and asks Lily and Reese if they’re having a Halloween party. When they tell her Charmaine is “sweatshopping us,” Cobra goes into the shop and asks Charmaine if she needs to look for another job. Charmaine is pushed to her limit with Lily and Reese. She finally walks out and confronts them. Black Ink Crew: Chicago airs Wednesdays at 8pm on VH1.
