On The Big Bang Theory episode “The Sibling Realignment,” Sheldon (Jim Parsons) learns that his mother Mary (Laurie Metcalf) won’t go to his and Amy’s (Mayim Bialik) wedding (which is in one week!) — unless they invite Sheldon’s older brother George “Georgie” Cooper, Jr. He tormented Sheldon his whole childhood. Sheldon brings Leonard (Johnny Galecki) with him to Dallas, Texas to end the family feud with his tire-selling brother aka Dr. Tire.

Sheldon’s older brother Georgie is portrayed by Jerry O’Connell. O’Connell is known for his roles on Billions (Steven Birch), Mistresses (Robert the Manny), Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas (Det. Woody Hoyt), and in the films Jerry Maguire (football rookie Frank Cushman) and Stand by Me (Vern), among others. The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8pm on CBS, right before Young Sheldon.
