On The Big Bang Theory episode “The Sibling Realignment,” Sheldon (Jim Parsons) travels to Texas to make amends with his big brother Georgie (Jerry O’Connell). Georgie tormented Sheldon as a kid. It doesn’t help that Georgie puts on a white coat and calls himself a doctor (Dr. Tire, he sells tires). A woman named Jenna appears in this episode and she’s memorable because she’s portrayed by Ellie Reed.
Ellie Reed is known for her role as Annie on the Netflix series Girlboss (Annie, see clip below), and her appearances on 2 Broke Girls (Clarie), Empire (a fashion VP), and Chicago P.D. (Josie Valescu), among others. Reed will appear next in the TV movie The Greatest American Hero with Hannah Simone (Cece on New Girl) and George Wendt (Norm from Cheers). You read that right. It’s based on the 1980s sitcom but with a female protagonist (Simone). The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8pm on CBS, right before its spin-off Young Sheldon.
