In the Lucifer episode “Quintessential Deckerstar,” while investigating the death of a woman, Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Chloe (Lauren German) discover that they may be pursuing the wrong suspect. And right as Lucifer is about to make the ultimate confession, he receives a tragic phone call that will bring everything to a halt. A mysterious man named Forest Clay makes an appearance. He’s portrayed by Doug Savant.

Doug Savant is known for his roles on Desperate Housewives (Tom Scavo), 24 (Craig Phillips), Melrose Place (Matt Fielding, see link above), and Knots Landing (Young Mack Mackenzie), among others. Savant is also recognized for his roles in the films Godzilla (Sgt. O’Neal) and Teen Wolf (Brad). Fun fact: In real life, Savant is married to his former Melrose Place co-star Laura Leighton who played the devious and sexy Sidney! Lucifer airs Mondays at 8pm on FOX, right before The Resident.
