In the New Girl episode “Where the Road Ends,” everyone gathers at a pet cemetery for a one-year memorial service for Furguson, Winston’s (Lamorne Morris) dead Jewish cat. After the service, the gang meets at the bar where a number of familiar faces stop by to pay their respects. Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.) stops by wearing a maroon track suit. And Jess’ ex-boyfriend Sam (David Walton) comes with a plate of food. And then a woman wearing a flannel shirt interrupts the gathering. That’s stand-up comedian Tig Notaro.
