In the NCIS: New Orleans episode “Powder Keg,” Pride (Scott Bakula) is working behind the bar when he gets a surprise visit from an old friend. Sgt. Sydney Halliday shows up in her civvies. She tells Pride she left the Army. “I just signed my papers last week,” she says. Pride then buys her a celebratory drink. Their happy time together is quickly interrupted by a trio of armed robbers who are being chased by the police. When they bust into the bar, one of them tells Pride, “I came to see you.”
Sydney Halliday is portrayed by Riann Steele. The Brooklyn-born, London-raised actress is known for her roles on The Blacklist (Anna Cartwright), Crazyhead (Suzanne), Lovesick (Cleo), In the Flesh (Lisa Lancaster) and Doctor Who (Queen Nefertiti), among others. NCIS: New Orleans airs Tuesdays at 10pm on CBS, right after Bull.
