In the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode “Sunk Cost Fallacy,” when the team searches for an abducted woman and her 4-year-old daughter, Lt. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) is surprised to see her old friend, Alex Cabot. Cabot was the Assistant District Attorney who was hired to work with SVU. Last time SVU fans saw Cabot was in 2012, when she retired. She retired from the law and now she’s pretty much breaking it. She got a new tactic for saving victims of abuse and it’s not exactly legal. When Benson warns Cabot about breaking the law, Cabot says, “What are you going to do, arrest me?”
ADA Alexandra Cabot is portrayed by Stephanie March. March is also known for her roles on Odd Mom Out (Divorce Diva #1) and Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter (Mayor Carol Blanton), among others. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit airs Wednesdays at 9pm on NBC, right before Chicago P.D.
