Humana, the health insurance company headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, is running a TV commercial featuring an older couple in their home. Viewers watch as they run up and down their stairs in the house, getting in shape. The They’re training for something as we see them marking off days on a calendar with pride. (They get faster by the day!) The big payoff is seeing the couple at a baseball stadium where they must climb up high for their nose bleed seats. At the very end, we see their baseball jerseys have the words “Gotta” and “Believe.” The song featured is “A Little Less Conversation” by Elvis Presley.

Elvis performed the song first in the 1968 film Live a Little, Love a Little (see link above). The opening line: “A little less conversation, a little more action, please” has attracted a number of politicians who have used the song during their campaigns, on both sides of the aisle. In 2004, Democratic presidential nominee Senator John Kerry used it as did his Republican opponent George W. Bush.
