Cassadee Pope is one of the former Voice champions who are returning to the show as advisors. Cassadee will be working with rookie coach Kelly Clarkson and her team to prepare for the Knockout Rounds. Cassadee has a lot of good advice to share. Not only did she get all four chairs to turn around during her Blind Audition (she joined Team Blake) but Cassadee also became the first female winner of The Voice in 2012 (Season 3).
Cassadee, now 28, owes a lot of her success on The Voice to her coach Blake Shelton, but Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson played a part, too. Cassadee won her Knockout Round (against Suzanna Choffel) singing the Adam Levine/Maroon 5 song “Payphone.” Cassadee advanced to the Top 12 after singing Kelly Clarkson’s hit “Behind These Hazel Eyes.” Cassadee owes a lot to The Voice fans too: she was saved by the audience’s vote SIX times! The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
