In the Timeless episode “Hollywoodland,” a Rittenhouse sleeper agent in 1941 steals the only copy of Citizen Kane. It’s up to Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter) and Rufus (Malcom Barrett) to get it back. They get the help of Hollywood movie star Hedy Lamarr, who isn’t just easy on the eyes but smart too. Turns out the Austrian-born actress’s discoveries led to the invention of Wi-Fi. (True story.) She also found time to marry (and divorce) six times and have three children. Her sixth husband was her own divorce attorney! Lamarr remained unmarried for the last 35 years of her life. She died in 2000 at the age of 85.
