In the two back-to-back premiere episodes of Station 19, the Seattle Fire Department responds to an apartment fire. When the station’s boss, Captain Pruitt Herrera (Miguel Sandoval, Medium) takes a hit, firefighter Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz, Rosewood) steps up to lead the team. One of her fellow firefighters is Travis Montgomery.
Travis is portrayed by Jay Hayden. He’s known for his roles on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (Dr. Daniel Shin), SEAL Team (Brian), The Catch (Danny Yoon, see photo below), and hulu’s Battleground (Chris “Take” Davis), among others. Hayden is also recognized for his roles as Kip in the 2008 Anna Faris movie The House Bunny. Station 19 airs Thursdays at 9pm on ABC, right after Grey’s Anatomy.
