In the Hallmark Channel movie Home by Spring, Los Angeles event planner Loretta Johnson returns to her small hometown in Louisiana and to her old beau Wayne Hancock (Steve R. McQueen). Wayne is encouraged to “go and get her” because “she’s special, kid.” And so he does.
