One of the most memorable episodes of Say Yes to the Dress featured two brides — Jaimee Fedele and Lisa Rizzo from Bergen County, New Jersey. They met at a bar in 2008, and then four years later met again at a Pride parade in 2012. Four years later, Lisa proposed to Jaimee in Central Park. On Say Yes to the Dress, they go shopping together at Kleinfeld. Jaimee wants a traditional white dress; Lisa wants a “one-piece” (don’t call it a pant suit!). While there are thousands of dresses at Kleinfeld, pants are more difficult to find. But bridal consultant Shay finds the perfect pair/piece — and at his first time at bat. Lisa loves the Elizabeth Fillmore white lacy suit and it’s in her budget (under $4000). Jaimee and Lisa got married in Cabo, Mexico in May 2016.
Almost two years later after the episode aired, Say Yes to the Dress is checking in on the married couple. Lisa Rizzo continues to expand her elite softball training facility in Westwood, NJ, Challenge U. Softball. And she’s a motivational speaker who talks about “breaking down barriers as gay woman in a male-dominated industry.” Say Yes to the Dress: Since I Said Yes airs Saturdays at 9pm on TLC.
