On the third episode of Survivor: Ghost Island, “Only Time Will Tell,” the castaways drop their buffs and switch tribes. That includes Donathan “Don Don” Hurley of the Malolo Tribe. Just hours before the episode airs, Donathan posted the photo below with the caption: “Tonight’s Gonna Get Lit!!!” A surprising swap definitely shakes up the game.
Donathan, the 26-year-old caretaker from Phelps, Kentucky, won lots of fans during the premiere episode. It was a “do or die moment” for Donathan when faced with an underwater challenge. He doubted himself but with the encouragement of his new friends (the Malolo Tribe), he pulled it off (releasing balls in a cage underwater). Survivor: Ghost Island airs Wednesdays at 8pm on CBS.
