There are only seven women left on The Bachelor. All of them are vying for the affection of cosmopolitan former racecar driver Arie Luyendyk, Jr. In the Valentine’s Day episode (February 12), Arie and the women explore the romantic countryside of Tuscany, Italy. There, in a gorgeous villa, Arie takes Kendall, Tia and Bekah M. for one final group date before Arie makes his decision about which four women get hometown visits. What’s interesting is that all of the women except Tia hail from big cities, i.e.g, New York, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis. Tia Booth, the 26-year-old physical therapist, is from the small town of Weiner, Arkansas. Remember Tia brought Arie a little weiner when they first met. (As a way to break the ice and leave an impression — it worked!)
Weiner, Arkansas (population of 686) is known for its unusual name and for the annual Arkansas Rice Festival which is held during the second weekend in October. There are six churches servicing the 686 people – including Catholic, Baptist and Methodist churches. And yes, Tia is good friends with Raven Gates from Nick Viall’s season! The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
