In the Grey’s Anatomy episode “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger,” April (Sarah Drew) announces — and is in charge of — a new Grey Sloan Surgical Innovation Contest. The doctors scramble to come up with the next big thing. The pressure is on and the doctors, including Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), feel it. To break the pressure, the doctors and interns let loose at a bar – especially Catherine (Debbie Allen) and Jackson (James Pickens Jr.) on the dance floor.
One of the B-team interns is Taryn Helm. She’s portrayed by Jaicy Elliot. It’s hard to believe that this is Elliot’s first TV role. Prior to joining the cast of Grey’s Anatomy, she worked as an office production assistant on the 2016 thriller movie The Unwilling. Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8pm on ABC, right before Scandal.
