In the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode “Chasing Demons,” a doctor (Lorenzo Scott) arrested for sexually abusing his patients is set free after Cassidy’s (Dean Winters) testimony causes a mistrial. When the doctor is found dead in his home, NYPD Detectives Rollins (Kelli Giddish) and Carisi (Peter Scanavino) are met there by Homicide Detective Devin Holiday. Although Rollins and Carisi have been on the case for the past two years, Holiday tells them, “I’ve got it from here, and I’d appreciate you getting out of my crime scene before you people screw that up too.” Ouch.
