The main event of the February 24 UFC Fight Night is the Josh Emmett vs Jeremy Stephens featherweight bout. Also fighting in Orlando is #2 strawweight Jessica Andrade of Brazil (a big Marta fan) and #5 strawweight Tecia Torres aka Tiny Tornado of America. Torres, the 28-year-old from Massachusetts, is engaged to UFC Bantamweight Raquel Pennington. Even if Pennington wasn’t engaged to Torres, she would be watching the bout. Pennington fought Andrade at UFC 191 in September 2015 and won the fight by submission in the second round. After she won, Pennington said the win was part of her “revenge tour.” The match with Andrade was a rematch of a split-decision loss 18 months prior. Pennington is scheduled to face Amanda Nunes on May 12, 2018 at UFC 224. (Nunes, btw, is dating strawweight UFC fighter Nina Ansaroff!) UFC Fight Night begins at 8pm on FOX. Ovince St. Preux will also face Ilir Latifi in a light-heavyweight bout.
