On the Season 7 premiere episode of Jill and Jessa: Counting On, “In Love in Switzerland,” the cameras follow Joy Duggar and her husband Austin Forsyth on their honeymoon. After saying “I do,” they travel to the beautiful mountains of Switzerland and go hang gliding, among other things. Joy says it’s the first time they’ve been alone together (with the exception of the cameras). Joy’s sister Jinger and her husband Jeremy move into their new house and this time Jeremy gets his own office so Jinger doesn’t have to put his books away in a box. And the next Duggar to walk down the aisle, Joe Duggar and his teen bride Kendra, 19, get their engagement photos taken.
During the photo shoot, the photographer tells Joe to place his hand around her waist, he hesitates and says, “I’m not sure, I’m not sure.” Kendra chimes in with her future husband, “Yeah, I’m not sure.” Kendra explains to the cameras: “I would say when you’re engaged, you almost need more chaperones just because you’re getting closer, desires are getting stronger.” Note: The young couple got married in September 2017; one month earlier than they planned.
