The first-ever Big Brother: Celebrity Edition started with 11 celebrities and now there are 9 standing including Broadway star Marissa Jaret Winokur. Some of the celebrities have made their new fame via other reality shows — Omarosa (The Apprentice) and Brandi Granville (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills). But Marissa comes from a long line of Hollywood celebrities. She is the great-niece of Oscar-winning screenwriter S.J. Perelman (Around the World In Eighty Days), and Oscar-nominated Nathanael West (The Day of the Locust). So it’s no surprise that her husband is in the biz, too.
Marissa is married to Judah Miller. The 44-year-old from Los Angeles started his career as a writer (The Tracy Morgan Show, Committed) and now works primarily as a two-time Emmy Award nominated producer (King of the Hill, American Dad!). His current project is HBO’s Crashing with occasional series director Judd Apatow. Judah is the brother of Murray Miller (executive producer/writer on Girls). Marissa and Judah are parents to 9-year-old son Zev. Big Brother: Celebrity Edition airs Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on CBS.
[NOTE about streaming: Cable cutters can watch a live stream of any CBS show through Amazon Prime or CBS ALL-ACCESS. Both options offer free trials.]
