Jon Bon Jovi isn’t new to the wine business. The rocker has a collectible wine business that produces limited quantities available at bonjoviwines.com. (Well, sort of available — all 18 specialty Bon Jovi wine bottles are currently sold out.) But Bon Jovi’s new venture with his 22-year-old son Jesse is producing a rosé wine that’s not so much collectible as drinkable. These aren’t limited editions. To create Hampton Water Wine, the father-son rocker team worked with French winemaker Gérard Bertrand.
Bon Jovi has a mansion in the Hamptons and the wine is named for the water nearby. The new wine expands Bon Jovi’s food and wine business interests to three generations. John Bongiovi, Sr. — the rocker’s father — is the namesake of the Bongiovi Brand of all natural pasta sauces, which include a killer Classic Curry. Profits from the sauce biz help support the the charitable work of the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation.
If you want to show your family how much you love them, stop by your local @FairwayMarket store this weekend and buy some Bongiovi Brand sauce. pic.twitter.com/MBMFOlZH1g
