The Lifetime movie A Tale of Two Coreys is about the friendship between former child stars Corey Feldman (Stand By Me, Gremlins) and the late Corey Haim (Murphy’s Romance, Lucas). Growing up together they experienced a lot of ups (partying) and downs (addiction). While Feldman was born and raised in Los Angeles, Haim was born in Toronto. His mother Judy and father Bernie divorced when Corey was 11. Judy Haim is portrayed by Paula Lindberg. Bernie Haim is portrayed by Brian Huskey.
[Corey Feldman’s memoir is Coreyography]
Huskey is known for his roles on People of Earth (Richard), Veep (Leon West), The Real O’Neals (Father Phil), Childrens Hospital (Chet/Mark Splorn), Neighbors (Frank), and UCB Comedy Originals (Max Death), among others. Huskey is also recognized for his roles in films starring Will Ferrell including Land of the Lost (teacher), Step Brothers (Interviewer), and Semi-Pro (White Pants). Or maybe you recognize him from those Sonic Drive-In commercials with Molly Erdman (see below). A Tale of Two Coreys premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, January 6 at 8pm. It will be followed by the Lifetime Original Special: Corey Feldman: Moment of Truth.
