In the SEAL Team episode “Containment,” Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz) and the SEAL team are sent to intercept the sale of nuclear weapons. The big obstacle is transporting the nukes which have unsecured fuel rods back to the base without blowing up. Meanwhile, when Ray (Neil Brown Jr.) is not being upfront about his shoulder injury, Sonny Quinn (AJ Buckley) can’t help but to think of his old partner Danny Cooper who had to retire after being severely injured by the Taliban.
Danny Cooper is portrayed by Steve Howey. He’s known for his roles on Shameless (Kevin Ball), Sons of Anarchy (Hopper), and Reba (Van Montgomery), among others. He’s also recognized for his role as Daniel (Kate Hudson’s fiancé) in Bride Wars and he most recently played pro boxer “The Monster” on an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. SEAL Team airs Wednesdays at 9pm on CBS, right after The Amazing Race, and right before Criminal Minds.
