There are have been several TV movies about the dangers of teen sexting. Overexposed is the latest, but with a thrilling twist. High schooler Erin Prescott (Mary Katherine Duhon) is shamed after her sexts with her classmate Taylor Cowles (Sam Chance) go public. She just wants to disappear. But when she reunites with Taylor, the opportunity for Taylor to disappear arises. Erin’s mother Sheila, who’s the Sheriff in town, is one of the first to learn that Taylor has gone missing. Sheila is put in a difficult situation when her daughter Erin confesses to her bad deed.
Mom Sheriff Sheila is portrayed by Marguerite Moreau. She’s known for her roles on Wet Hot American Summer (Katie, photo below), Grey’s Anatomy (Dr. Emma Marling, see link above), Shameless (Linda), Parenthood (Katie), What About Brian (Suzanne), The O.C. (Reed Carlson), and Life As We Know It (Monica Young), among others. Moreau is also recognized for her role as Connie in the Mighty Ducks movies. Overexposed premieres Friday, January 26 at 8pm on Lifetime Movies.
