In the Superior Donuts episode “Grades of Wrath,” Franco (Jermaine Fowler) submits his first art school assignment. He’s convinced it’s a masterpiece. When his art teacher, Professor Mills, gives it a below-average grade, Franco asks if he can try again and submit another painting.
Professor Mills is portrayed by Tim Russ. He’s known for his roles on iCarly (Principal Franklin), Samantha Who? with Christina Applegate (Frank), Star Trek: Voyager (Tuvok), and The Highwayman (D.C. Montana), among many others. Fun fact: Russ played a Trooper in Mel Brooks’ 1987 sci-fi comedy Spaceballs. Superior Donuts airs Mondays at 9pm on CBS, right before 9JKL.
