In the Kevin (Probably) Saves the World episode “The Ugly Sleep”, Kevin (Jason Ritter) tries to help a handsome young man named Charlie date after a bad break-up. Things get awkward when Charlie asks out Kevin’s ex-girlfriend Kristen (India de Beaufort), who Kevin still has feelings for.
Long-haired, bearded Charlie is portrayed by Trent Garrett. He’s known for his roles on Disney Channel’s Andi Mack (Bowie Quinn), New Girl (Donovan), and the soap opera All My Children (Asher Pike), among others. You can see Garrett next in the TV series Here and Now with Tim Robbins and Holly Hunter, and ABC’s Splitting Up Together with The Office’s Jenna Fischer (see photo below). Fun fact: Garrett made his acting debut in a 2009 episode of 90210 as the character Bru-Dog. Kevin (Probably) Saves the World airs Tuesdays at 10pm on ABC.
