In The Blacklist episode “The Informant,” while Red (James Spader) and the Task Force try to track down a Blacklister who’s selling sensitive information, Liz (Megan Boone) is back and she’s wants revenge. She will stop at nothing to get revenge for her husband Tom’s death. Boone explains that Liz is “unleashing this really sadistic, aggressive part of herself” and now she’s using the dark tactics of blacklisters to take down the people responsible for Tom’s death.
In ‘The Informant’ episode, Liz is in hot pursuit of Bobby Navarro (Happy Anderson). When she finds out the owner of a diner is laundering money for Navarro, she pays him a visit. When she demands to see Navarro, the (armed) cook turns his back on him. Bad move. He gets shot in the leg and tells Liz where Navarro is keeping his money — in a refrigerator. (Cold cash, you know?) But she doesn’t want his money. She proves it by burning a stack of the loot in front of the terrified cook. The Blacklist airs Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
