In the Hallmark movie Winter’s Dream, widower Ty Decker leaves the city and heads to the snowy mountains with his teenage daughter Anna (Lizzie Boys). They’re spending 10 days at Bliss Valley so Anna can train with a ski pro. But when Anna and the pro don’t hit it off, Anna asks to work with former ski champion Kat (Kristy Swanson). Not only do Anna and Kat hit it off, but so do Kat and Ty. But then you knew that!
Ty is portrayed by Dean Cain. The Princeton grad and former college football player is known for his roles on Supergirl (Dr. Jeremiah Danvers), Hit the Floor (Pete Davenport), Las Vegas (Casey Manning), The Division (Inspector Jack Ellis), Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (Clark Kent aka Superman), and Beverly Hills, 90210 (Rick, Brenda’s boyfriend who she meets in France), among others. Winter’s Dream premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, January 27 at 9pm.
