Nomiku is an at-home Sous vide immersion cooking machine. You submerge vacuum-sealed food into a vat of water then set the temperature and timer (usually two hours to cook) and voila! The entrepreneurs behind Nomiku — husband and wife team Abe and Lisa Fetterman of San Francisco, California — pitched their business on Shark Tank in December 2016. They went into the Tank seeking $250,000 in exchange for 5 percent equity. They made a deal with guest Shark Chris Sacca — $250k for 10 percent.

Since Shark Tank, Nomiku has hit the shelves of Williams-Sonoma across the US and in April 2017, Lisa reported that the company started to deliver prepared frozen Nomiku Sous Chef Meals to customers. They cook to perfection in about 30 minutes! Of the 13 main dishes currently available, the most popular Nomiku Sous Chef Meals are Meatballs (with grits and glazed carrots) and Pork Shoulder (with grits and red cabbage). Starter Pack: Order $79 in meals, and get a Nomiku Sous Chef smart cooker for $69, for a savings of $130! If you purchase a Samsung Smart Fridge, you’ll also get the Nomiku app. New episodes of Shark Tank air Sundays at 9pm and 10pm on ABC.
