On the Modern Family episode “He Said, She Shed,” Claire (Julie Bowen) is looking for a little privacy and asks to build a “She Shed” in the backyard. But her request is denied by the homeowners association. Meanwhile at Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam’s (Eric Stonestreet) house, Cam’s sister Pameron (Dana Powell) reveals a family secret which has Cam running to Mitch’s therapist.
Mitch’s therapist is portrayed by standup comedian Cathy Ladman. As an actress she’s known for her roles on I’m Dying Up Here (Tish Norman), Pretty Little Liars (Mrs. Horowitz, see link above), Caroline in the City (Elevator Lady), and in the 2002 film White Oleander (Swap Meet Mother) and the 1996 film My Fellow Americans with Jack Lemmon and James Garner, among others.
