In Hallmark Channel’s Royal New Year’s Eve, Caitlyn (Jessy Schram) works as the assistant to magazine editor Abigail Miller. But Caitlyn really wants to be a fashion designer. When the opportunity to design a dress for socialite Lady Isabelle Collins (Hayley Sales) comes knocking, Caitlyn accepts. But boss Abigail does her best to sabotage Caitlyn’s efforts. Meanwhile, Caitlyn also falls for Isabelle’s fiance, Prince Jeffrey (Sam Page).
Abigail is portrayed by Cheryl Ladd. She’s best known for her role role as Kris Munroe on Charlie’s Angels (1977-1981). She’s also known for her roles on Ballers (Mayor of Las Vegas, see photo below), American Crime Story (Linell Shapiro), Ray Donovan (Tina Harvey), and Las Vegas (Jillian Deline), among others. Fun fact: Ladd made her TV debut in the 1971 animated series Josie and the Pussycats (Melody, the singing voice of Cherie Moor). Royal New Year’s Eve premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, December 30 at 8pm.
