Third Wave Water makes mineral capsules filled with calcium, magnesium, and sodium. The two founders of Third Wave Water, Taylor Minor and Charles Nick, pitched their business on Shark Tank in October. On the show they accepted an offer from Barbara Corcoran — $100,000 in exchange for 25 percent equity.
Months after filming the Shark Tank episode, the deal fell through. However, Minor and Nick say Shark Tank “was a very positive experience” and that they “have a good working relationship with Barbara’s people, and we can still use them as assets and contacts.” While they continue to fulfill orders from the Shark Tank exposure (about 1,000 orders a day!), they plan to launch new products in January and February 2018. New episodes of Shark Tank (Season 9) air Sundays at 9pm on ABC.
