Stripped is a new reality show on Bravo that observes people who have been stripped of all their possessions. Yes, including their clothes. It’s just for 21 days but it is an interesting experiment to watch. Plus, they’re naked. And yes, they’re all good looking people. (Each day can go get retrieve one item “that they can’t live without” from a storage container about a half-mile away.) The premiere episode focuses on a couple from Los Angeles, Ali and Justin.
Don’t worry: the participants are provided with toilet paper, water and food rations. What’s the grand prize, you ask? Nothing. (How fitting!) This isn’t a competition. There is no prize. It’s just people who are willing to get naked in front of TV cameras. It’s not all fun and games, though. It’s an emotional journey. As one woman says, “Being stripped, I feel like I’m judging myself more.” People are using the experiment to find out what their purpose is in life. And the journey makes most participants appreciate what they do have. They might not have socks, but they have each other. Stripped airs Tuesdays at 10pm on Bravo, right after Below Deck.
