The judges on Season 3 of The Great American Baking Show are familiar — James Beard Award-winning baker Johnny Iuzzini returns and The Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood will join him. The two hosts of the TV competition are new — former NFL football player Anthony “Spice” Adams (Chicago Bears) and cookbook author Ayesha Curry. Despite not having any professional chef training, Curry (wife of NBA MVP Steph Curry) launched her culinary career in 2014 with her YouTube channel Little Lights of Mine.
Since then the former actress Curry has published a cookbook, The Seasoned Life, and landed her own cook show Ayesha’s Home Kitchen on Food Network which premiered in April. When not on camera, Curry is busy promoting her cookware line (see link above) and working as a CoverGirl spokesperson. The 28-year-old entrepreneur is the first CoverGirl rep who is “not an actress, singer or influencer.” (She seems pretty influential to us!) Curry is the face of CoverGirl’s new Peacock Flare mascara (TV commercial below). The Great Holiday Baking Show airs on Wednesdays at 9pm on ABC.
