In the Man With a Plan episode “Andi’s Boyfriend,” Adam (Matt LeBlanc) finds out that the pastor he hired for his wedding was a fake. So technically he and his wife of almost 18 years Andi (Liza Snyder) are not legally married. Without telling Andi the news, he proposes that they renew their wedding plans as a romantic gesture.
Pastor Carl is portrayed by Jonathan Adams. Adams is known for his roles on Last Man Standing (Chuck Larabee, see link above), Dallas (Calvin Hannah), Bones (Daniel Goodman), American Dreams (Henry Walker), and Castle (Vulcan Simmons), among others. Adams is also a prolific voice actor: Ronan the Accuser on Guardians of the Galaxy, Absorbing Man on Ultimate Spider-Man and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., Atrocitus on Green Lantern.
