Chloe Kohanski is one of the three remaining artists on The Voice’s Team Blake. (The other two are Red Marlow and Keisha Renee.) The 23-year-old alternative singer from Nashville is known to make old songs indie new — and her own. Totally owning each classic, Chloe has sung Steve Nicks’ “Landslide,” Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time,” and Dido’s “Thank You,” among others. Now, with the goal to land a spot on the Top 10, Chloe is singing the 1983 Bonnie Tyler power ballad “Total Eclipse of the Heart.”

[Download Chloe’s version on The Voice on iTunes] Fun facts about Bonnie Tyler’s biggest hit: The raspy-voiced Welch singer recorded a French/English duet version titled “Si demain…(Turn Around)” with Kareen Antonn. (“Turn Around” is repeated in the chorus.) But wait, there’s more! The drummer on the original “Total Eclipse” single is Max Weinberg of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band and on guitar is Rick Derringer, lead singer on the McCoys enduring song “Hang On Sloopy.” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
