Jennifer Paschall and Gita Vasseghi of Los Angeles, California are the founders of No Mo-Stache, a portable hair removal kit for the upper lip. It’s promoted as “Spa quality waxing in seconds.” The kit contains cold wax strips so there’s no risk of burning your skin with hot gooey wax. You just warm up the strip in your hand, pull the strip apart, apply to upper lip, rub back and forth, and then pull the hair off. Paschall and Vasseghi are pitching No Mo-Stache on Shark Tank on November 5. They are seeking an investment of $100,000 in exchange for 25 percent equity.
There are 24 hypoallergenic lip wax strips in each No Mo-Stache kit. The kits sell for $12 each on Sephora and on the company website. There’s a 40-count tin too for $16, and a No Mo-Bush Bikini kit for the hair down there. Each super cute and discreet, pocket-sized kit also comes with aloe creme for post-waxing. It’s a hit waiting to happen, but will the mostly male Sharks get the need and the speed?
