The ladies of Atlanta are back for another dramatic season of Married to Medicine. While Dr. Jackie Walters’s marriage with Curtis is on the rocks, Dr. Heavenly Kimes clashes with the new doctor on the show, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe. Contessa admits that she has “a little rough edge to myself” especially if she feels like someone is attacking her. Toya Bush-Harris doesn’t think Heavenly should mess with Contessa. As Toya points out, Contessa was in the military. “She knows how to shoot and kill.”
Dr. Contessa Metcalfe was born and raised in Kansas City, Michigan. After graduating from Xavier University she went to medical school at St. Louis University and then joined the Navy as a flight surgeon. She now runs her own private practice and a medical concierge service called Acute Face MD. She’s married to her handsome husband, family physician Dr. Walter Scott Metcalfe, the father of her three children. Married to Medicine airs Fridays at 8pm on Bravo.
