On the Curb Your Enthusiasm episode “The Shucker,” when Larry (Larry David) isn’t dealing with being blackmailed by an employee, he and Jeff (Jeff Garlin) tell everyone their musical is back on. Not only is it back on, but they supposedly have a meeting with Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. Actress America Ferrera of Superstore plays Lin’s wife.
Ferrera does look like Lin’s real-life wife Vanessa Nadal. They both have infectious smiles. See video below. Miranda and Nadal married in 2010. They went to the same prestigious high school, Hunter College High School, where Miranda launched his career by writing most of the school musicals and plays. (Miranda went on to Wesleyan University, Nadal went to M.I.T., became a scientist and is now a lawyer.) Curb Your Enthusiasm airs Sundays at 10pm on HBO.
