9JKL is the new CBS sitcom starring Mark Feuerstein as Josh, a newly divorced out-of-work Hollywood actor. When he moves back to New York, he lives next door to his well-meaning but meddlesome parents Harry and Judy. Judy is portrayed by Tony winner Linda Lavin. Harry is portrayed by Oscar-nominated Elliott Gould.
[Gould in bed with Natalie Wood is a must-see]
Gould is known for his roles on the TV shows Ray Donovan (Ezra Goodman), Friends (Jack Geller), and ER (Dr. Howard Sheinfeld), and in the films Ocean’s Eleven (Reuben Tishkoff), American History X (Murray), MASH (Trapper John McIntyre), and Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (for which he was nominated for an Oscar — see above link), among many others. His first wife was Barbra Streisand — they had one child together, director Jason Gould. Elliot Gould received the honor of being on the cover of Time magazine in September 1970 and dubbed “a star for an uptight age” (see below). 9JKL airs Mondays at 9pm on CBS.
