The protagonist of the Hallmark Channel movie A Harvest Wedding is New York wedding planner Sarah Bloom. Sarah returns to her small hometown in Massachusetts to plan a big wedding for her ex-boyfriend’s brother. While working side-by-side with her ex David (Victor Webster), Sarah falls for him all over again. But you knew that was going to happen! And, really, didn’t Sarah?
Sarah Bloom is portrayed by Jill Wagner. The thirtysomething Wagner is known as a fun TV host (Wipeout, Handcrafted America), and for her roles on Teen Wolf (Kate Argent), Stargate: Atlantis (Larrin), and Blade: The Series (Krista Starr), among others. She is a former fashion model who was named Miss Barbizon after attending one of the Barbizon Acting and Modeling Schools. (Ryan Phillippe, Giuliana Rancic and Carmen Electra are also Barbizon grads, btw.) But Wagner didn’t just go to modeling school; the North Carolina native is a graduate of North Carolina State University, where she studied business. And business is returning the favor and going pretty well for Wagner, for sure. Fun fact: Wagner made her acting debut in a 2004 episode of Monk. Wagner will appear next on the big screen in the 2018 action film Braven with Jason Momoa (Aquaman). A Harvest Wedding premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, October 21 at 9pm.
