On the Friday before Halloween, CBS is airing the one-hour animated TV movie Michael Jackson’s Halloween. It’s about two millennials Vincent and Victoria who accidentally meet on Halloween night. At a mysterious hotel called This Place Hotel (located at 777 Jackson Street), the two (and a dog named Ichabod) explore the unexpected. And yes, there is a big dance number at the end with an animated Michael Jackson. Turns out both Vincent and Victoria have dreams of making it in the entertainment business. Vincent wants to DJ and Victoria wants to be a dancer — perfect match, right? Except that This Place Hotel is run by a s stern woman named Conformity, voiced by Lucy Liu. Unfortunately for Vincent and Victoria, Conformity forbids both music and dance at This Place Hotel and she has some help too, from people like The Hay Man, voiced by Jim Parsons. As always happened with Michael Jackson, Bubbles the Chimp will be there to help along the way — in Vincent and Victoria’s case, Bubbles the Chimp speaks in the rich baritone of actor Brad Garrett.
Vincent is voiced by Lucas Till. The 27-year-old actor is known for his roles on CBS’ MacGyver (Angus MacGyver) and in the X-Men films (Alex Summers aka Havok), Walk the Line (Young Jack Cash), and in the Taylor Swift’s 2009 music video “You Belong with Me,” among others. Victoria is voiced by Kiersey Clemons (Lucy on CBS’ Extant with Halle Berry). Michael Jackson’s Halloween airs Friday, October 27 at 8pm on CBS.
