In the animated TV movie Michael Jackson’s Halloween, young Vincent (Lucas Till, MacGyver) and young Victoria (Kiersey Clemons, Extant) find themselves at the mysterious This Place Hotel. Vincent wants to become a DJ. Victoria wants to become a dancer. So when they meet Conformity at the hotel — Conformity forbids both music and dance — they are clearly disappointed. Vincent and Victoria are probably a little confused too, because Conformity is a sexy-looking character wearing a strapless thigh-high slit gown who looks totally ready to dance — all night long too. Something tells us The Hay Man, voiced by TV’s highest paid actor Jim Parsons, might be some help to Vincent and Victoria. The Hay Man is the groundskeeper at This Place Hotel.
The Conformity character in Michael Jackson’s Halloween special is voiced by dynamic actress Lucy Liu. Liu is known for her roles on CBS’s Elementary (Dr. Joan Watson), Southland (Officer Jessica Tang), Dirty Sexy Money (Nola Lyons), Cashmere Mafia (Mia Mason), and Ally McBeal (Ling Woo), among many others. Liu is also well recognized for her role as O-Ren Ishii in the Kill Bill films, as Alex in the Charlie’s Angels movies, and as the voice of Viper in the Kung Fun Panda franchise. Fun fact: Liu made her acting debut on a 1991 episode of Beverly Hills, 90210. Michael Jackson’s Halloween airs Friday, October 27 at 8pm on CBS. Lucy first became well-known to American TV viewers as Ling in Ally McBeal, where she was terrific.
