In the American Housewife episode “The Lice Storm,” when Anna-Kate (Julia Butters) brings a lice infestation into the Otto house, her mother Katie (Katy Mixon) uses it as an excuse to bond with her other daughter Taylor (Meg Donnelly). Husband Greg (Diedrich Bader) suggests that he and son Oliver (Daniel DiMaggio) try to avoid getting lice by camping outside but Oliver doesn’t last long on the camp out. He’s too interested in their sleazy new neighbor Spencer.
Spencer is portrayed by George Hamilton. The 78-year-old actor is known for his perpetual tan and for his roles on Dynasty (Joel Abrigore) in the mid-1980s, and in the films The Godfather: Part III (B.J. Harrison), Zorro: The Gay Blade (Zorro), and Love at First Bite (Count Dracula), among others. He was married to Alana Stewart, Rod Stewart’s ex-wife. Together they’ve appeared on several reality shows including Celebrity Wife Swap. He also used to date Elizabeth Taylor (see below). American Housewife airs Wednesdays at 9:30pm on ABC, right after Modern Family.
