In The Middle episode “Meet the Parents,” while Brick (Atticus Shaffer) gets involved with a fund-raiser at school, Mike (Neil Flynn) and Frankie (Patricia Heaton) have dinner with the parents of Axl’s (Charlie McDermott) girlfriend Lexi Brooks (Daniela Bobadilla).
Lexi’s mother Tammy is portrayed by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna. She’s also known for her roles as Billie Holiday Reed on Days of Our Lives and Taylor McBride on Melrose Place — see link above, among others. Fun facts about Rinna: She is married to actor Harry Hamlin and made a big splash when she (and Hamlin) did a lucrative TV commercial for Depends (see below). The Middle airs Tuesdays at 8pm on ABC.
