In the Will & Grace episode “Emergency Contact,” Grace (Debra Messing) is sent to the hospital only to discover that her emergency contact is her ex-husband Leo (Harry Connick, Jr.) not Will (Eric McCormack). When he shows up in her hospital room, they have an odd conversation with Nurse Sheila who “senses tension” between them.
Sheila is portrayed by Laura Kightlinger. As an actress, the stand-up comedian is known for her roles in the films Must Love Dogs (Marcia), Kicking & Screaming (Donna Jones), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (Donna), Daddy Day Care (Sheila), and Shallow Hal (Jen) see link above, among others. She’s been a consulting producer on Will & Grace since episode 1 in 2001, and for 2 Broke Girls on CBS since 2011. Will & Grace airs Thursdays at 9pm on NBC.
