The CW is bringing the 1980s soap opera Dynasty back on TV. Not much of the plot has changed. Billionaire Blake Carrington (Grant Show) pisses off everyone when he decides to marry Cristal and give her the position of COO at his successful energy company. His daughter Fallon thought the job was hers, and she’s willing to do anything (I mean anything!) to get it back.

Fallon Carrington is portrayed by Elizabeth Gillies, who warns her fans: “You better pick out your outfit and buckle the hell up!” for the Dynasty premiere (see below). The 24-year-old actress is known for her roles on the TV shows Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll (Gigi) and Victorious (Jade West), in the film Vacation (Heather), and in Victoria Justice videos “All I Want Is Everything”, “Freak the Freak Out”, “Make It in America”, and “Beggin’ on Your Knees”. Fun fact: Gillies starred in the Broadway musical 13 in 2008 with Ariana Grande (also of Victorious). Dynasty airs Wednesdays at 9pm on The CW, right after the teen soap opera Riverdale.
