In The Gifted episode “boXed in,” Jace Turner (Coby Bell) is spurred by a tragic event from his past. He throws all the power of the Sentinel Services into finding the Mutant Underground Way Station. Meanwhile, Blink (Jamie Chung) has a dream that leads her to confront Dreamer. Dreamer is the mutant who can implant memories into a person’s mind. Dreamer is portrayed by Elena Satine. The Russian-born actress is known for her roles on the new Twin Peaks (Rhonda), Revenge (Louise Ellis), Matador (Margot), and Magic City (Judi Silver), among others.
Fun fact: This is Satine’s fourth comic book character. She’s also played Mera on Smallville, Lorelei on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Mary Jane Watson on Spider-Man: Turned Off the Dark. Another fun fact: Satine is married to actor Tyson Ritter (Oliver Rome on Parenthood). The Gifted airs Mondays at 9pm on FOX, right after Lucifer.
