Meanwhile, Benson (Mariska Hargitary) deals with her ex, Brian Cassidy, who’s back from Florida and working for the District Attorney’s office. Last time viewers saw Winters was in 2014 (Season 15), when the two dated after Benson’s abduction and before she adopted Noah.
Cassidy is portrayed by Dean Winters. He’s known for his roles on Brooklyn Nine-Nine (The Vulture), Battle Creek (Russ Agnew), 30 Rock (Tina Fey’s boyfriend Dennis Duffy), Rescue Me (Johnny Gavin), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Charley Dixon), and Oz (Ryan O’Reilly), among others. Winters is also recognized as “Mayhem” from a series of Allstate insurance commercials. Law & Order: SVU airs Wednesdays at 9pm on NBC.
